1. Introduction

Welcome to Kairo OS ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. Because Kairo operates as a cloud-based operating system, we take the collection, processing, and isolation of your data extremely seriously.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

  • Credentials: Email addresses, passwords, and GitHub/AWS OAuth tokens.
  • Usage Data: We may collect telemetry regarding the performance of your cloud instances (e.g., CPU, Memory, Latency) strictly for infrastructure optimization.
  • Isolated Session Data: Your filesystem, browsing history within the Kairo browser, and terminal commands are entirely sandboxed. We do not inspect, log, or persist this data outside of your explicitly running or saved instances.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our Services for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.

4. Data Isolation & Security

Due to the nature of our cloud computing environment, ensuring your data is isolated is our primary concern. Each Kairo session runs within a secure, ephemeral container. Upon instance termination, all ephemeral data is cryptographically destroyed unless explicitly committed to your persistent cloud storage block.
